Situated in front of Fuglevik marina, the main living spaces are placed on the second floor to achieve an extraordinary view of the Oslo fjord. The gabled roof and 6.5 meter ridge height was a result of the strict local building regulations.

The inhabitants of Dovregubben apartments seek to rebuild their homes. Out of three different proposals, our design was selected as the most suitable. "Kuben" will be customized to each apartment while at the same time create an overall coherent rhythm.

A local firm requires more space in order to open a new department. The extension is located on the backside of the building and not very visible from the road. We have therefore chosen to highlight certain areas of the new facade with steel and glass in order to reflect the level of ambition and quality that the firm is constantly striving to maintain.

Icelandic Trekking Cabins
September 2016

The current situation is an old fashioned Norwegian villa located at the center of the property with a terrace facing east/west resulting in full exposure to the sun during the day but a lack of it in the afternoon.

AKHAS Arkitekter has applied for a tennis court at the south west corner of the property.

The client would like a 12.5 x 4 meter pool at the south side of the main building. In addition they need a pool house with a bathroom, bedroom and an outside kitchen. This building will work as a curtain towards the neighbours in the south as well as the home of the au pair.

Article in Hyttemagasinet

Principal Architect Konrad Halvorsen is portrayed in the Norwegian magazine Hyttemagasinet with his family this month. The article shows his private mountain cabin and sauna lodge at Ringebu, Norway - where he spends several weeks every year. The article shows interior and exterior spaces, including "Norway's finest outhouse".

Norwegian Coast Guard Centre
August 2014

AKHAS Architects are currently looking at possibilities for a future expansion of the Centre for The Norwegian Coast Guard in Moss.

The area needs several major improvements on an urban scale to create a new and better core and meeting point in the city of Moss. Konrad's sketch created a debate in the local news paper and is part of a future vision of the area in cooperation with the client and other parts involved.
