BIKUBEN 18B

A vertical addition and transformation of a typical vernacular house in Oslo. The addition creates an extra level to the existing house without changing its’ footprint. It is designed with an expressive angled roof and wood materials that continues seamlessly from wall to roof, giving the house a more sculptural appearance. In turn, the rooms inside will enjoy soaring, tall ceilings with plenty of air and light as well as a balcony that adds opportunity to enjoy the morning sun.
